Moving Month: Mover Highlight John and Joe Schwartz – AAA Movers, Inc.

For over 50 years, AAA Movers, Inc., an Arpin agent, has been “entrusted with [moving] a lifetime of memories.” Founded in 1964, AAA Movers, Inc. has shown each customer individualized attention and assistance, making them feel a part of the AAA Movers, Inc. family. As second-generation movers, John and Joe Schwartz have taken over the family business, focusing on the principle of “peace of mind, one box at a time.

AAA Movers, Inc. continues to service its Minneapolis community through residential and corporate moves. Their model of treating all customers like family has paid off – and the business has grown over the years. From their original location in Minneapolis, AAA Movers, Inc. now operates from four locations including Des Moines and Chicago.

AAA Movers, Inc. has not only grown in locations but in community influence as well. They are committed to being a part of the community and to charitable giving, working with non-profits in Minnesota including Homes for Heroes, Kids Against Hunger, Stamp out Hunger, Toys for Tots, Hope 4 Youth, and Move For Hunger. In 2020, AAA Movers, Inc. delivered enough food to local pantries for more than 40,000 meals, earning them Move for Hunger’s prestigious “Agent of the Year” award. They also support a number of community youth hockey teams and take the Polar Plunge each year, among other charitable endeavors. When asked why community giving is such a big part of their business model, John Schwartz replied, “When you give back, you’re able to better the lives of the people around you - your loved ones, the people in your community or the lives of people somewhere else in the world. Finding meaning by giving back to the community doesn’t just benefit others, it benefits everyone in our organization taking part in it.”

American Trucking Associations’ Moving and Storage is proud to have AAA Movers, Inc., and John and Joe Schwartz, as representatives of our industry.
