The 2020 Safety and Operations Conference will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott, San Diego Old Town, 2435 Jefferson Street, San Diego, CA 92110.
Courtyard San Diego Downtown is conveniently located just a few blocks from the Gaslamp Quarter, the local entertainment and nightlife district. Baseball games and concerts at Petco Park are just 1 mile away, and the San Diego Convention Center is within walking distance for easy access to conferences and events. To the south, it’s a whole different country, Mexico, featuring its own cultural offerings in various towns along the border and coastline, including Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensenada.
What to Pack
Business casual dress is encouraged for all meetings. We also suggest that you dress in layers as many meeting rooms tend to run either Sahara hot or Artic cold. The temperature range in San Diego, CA, during late January is in the mid-60s (daytime) to the low 50s (nighttime).
