Did you know that the Everglades begin in central Florida? Take an exciting airboat tour — gliding through a beautiful natural paradise of swamps, marshes and incredible wildlife — from bald eagles, alligators and limpkins to egrets, herons, pelicans and much more! Attendees will come face-to-face with the majestic beauty and beasts of Florida’s real animal adventure. Transportation and refreshments are included. All tickets are non-refundable.
Attendees will meet at the Rosen Centre’s bus depot, near the AMSA registration desk, at 8:45 a.m. for prompt departure with an arrival time of 9:15 a.m. at Marsh Landing Adventures. The 90-minute tour starts at 9:30 a.m. and the bus will return to the hotel by 11:30 a.m.

Party Like You’re 40Below to Benefit Move For Hunger

Come enjoy the thrill of chill! 40Below and Move For Hunger invites all conference attendees to the coolest (and hottest!) party of the year. Join us at IceBar Orlando where you’ll be greeted by an Ice Princess, visit a frosty wonderland with 70 tons of ice sculptures and a frozen bar. Proceed to the Fire Lounge and be wowed by our flame throwing bartenders and DJ. 40Below members receive free admittance, but invite everyone to attend no matter the age — come party like you’re 40Below! Transportation is on your own, but you can use the free trolley or hop in a cab to meet us there. Participants will receive a wristband at registration and must wear it to gain entry to the event. Proceeds benefit AMSA’s charity partner Move For Hunger.
40Below Community Service Project Bike Build
Tuesday, March 17, 1-2:30 p.m.
Conference attendees will work in teams to build and customize bicycles that will be donated to local children. Volunteers will be grouped in teams of three and compete to build a bicycle. The first team to cross the finish line will receive a prize (and ultimate bragging rights). All bicycles will be donated to the local Boys and Girls Club of America.

The Moving and Storage Institute (MSI) is the philanthropic arm of AMSA and was founded to foster educational opportunities for individuals in the moving and storage industry, facilitate the development of industry education and certification programs, and to cultivate a broader understanding and appreciation of the transportation of household goods moving and warehousing. Attendees are encouraged to bid on fabulous items during the Moving & Storage Institute’s annual Silent Auction, open daily during Expo hours, and the fast-paced and exciting Live Auction, during Tuesday’s Evening of the Stars dinner and awards presentation. AMSA Fitness Boot Camp

By providing a mixture of strength exercises and cardiovascular training, the AMSA boot camp will give almost every muscle in your body a workout. The boot camp involves a warm-up and cool-down, bodyweight exercises, running and stretching exercises. Come prepared to get an early morning boost! This class is recommended for any level attendee; beginners welcomed!

Begin the evening mingling with the best in the industry, and enjoying refreshments and hors d’oeuvres at the Shining Star Reception, from 6–7 p.m.
This night to remember continues with the Evening of the Stars Awards dinner (7-9:30 p.m.), celebrating and recognizing the best in our industry. We will present the awards for the 2019 Fleet Safety, Super Van Operators, the Summit Award for Supplier Members, the Agent of the Year, Independent Mover of the Year, Enterprise Award for Small Movers, and the Young Professional Model of Excellence Award. The presentations include the annual MSI Live Auction, and the event culminates with the Moving & Storage Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Service.
